Is Windows physically tracking me?

For the last couple weeks, I’ve noticed that sound coming from my 2 laptops starts and stops randomly without me explicitly doing anything. For example, if I have Spotify open, it will suddenly start playing without me pressing play. YouTube videos already open in my browser also start and stop. This affects both my personal Win11 laptop and my work Win10 laptop. Both laptops have cameras. Lately, I’ve seemed to notice some sort of correlation between when my laptops starting/stopping audio and my physical presence in front of my laptops. In other words, there are times when I look away, the audio may stop. This doesn’t always happen, but it’s happened enough that I am starting to wonder if this is not a coincidence. Is Windows tracking my movements?

Can anyone shed any light on what’s going on? It’s driving me crazy!
