More comical 1809 failures!

I’m evaluating Windows Server 2016 on a machine on the LAN. I want to use RSAT. I read this document…

When I do what it says in 1809, “Manage Optional Features” tells me that there are no features available.

Again… What did they do to this thing to screw it up so bad?!

I wish you could talk personally to Satya Nadella, but it seems he is living in a very cosy bubble where he doesn't have to deal with this crap. My guess is that he uses a Mac.

On my machine (1809), I have

RSAT VM-Tool, RSAT AD Cert tools, RSAT Data Center Bridging, RSAT DHCP, RSAT DNS, RSAT Failover Clustering, RSAT Group Policy Management, RSAT IP Address management (IPAM), RSAT Network controller management tools, RSAT Remote Desktop Services, RSAT Server mananer, RSAT Storage Migration Service, RSAT Storage Replica Module for Windows Powershell, RSAT System Insights Module for Windows Powershell, RSAT Tools for AD Domain Services and LDAP, RSAT Tools for File services, RSAT Tools for Remote access management, RSAT Tools for network performance balancing, RSAT Bitlocker management

RSAT Volume activation tools, RSAT WSUS tools

Are you perhaps on a WSUS server where administrator hasn't released to the features for installation?

Edit: And are you looking under Apps -> Add Features in the new control panel? If you open the old-style control panel Add/Remove Programs option, it isn't listed there. (I'm using German Windows, so those are rough translations).
