problem with opening edge

HI,

since a couple of days I have a problem with Edge (Version 85). It works fine but when I start there is a delay of 5-6 seconds between when I push the button on the taskbar and when the Edge window actually appears. I also noted that if I push the button more than once during this interval, more windows of Edge will pop up one immediately after the first one appears (with delay). This behaviour is new, before it was very snappy. Is this happening to anyone else? Any idea what could cause this?
