Adding additional users to Outlook Premium with or without custom domain

So, the five user limit works just fine for the nuclear family. Currently, each member has a live.com address. I can find no information on how one adds the additional accounts, and if one can, if one does not have a custom domain.

If you have a custom domain, do you need to specify the new domain email as well as the existing account, in order to add it as an alias on that account.

If you do not have a custom domain, can you link the accounts at all?

You can only have five users participating in your Outlook Premium subscription. There is no option or capability to purchase additional user slots/accounts.

You can use your own domain if you have one. There are steps that the setup process will prompt you to complete in order to point your domain to Microsoft's email servers.

If you do not have a personal domain already you will need to either buy one from Microsoft during the setup process or buy one from another registrar. You cannot setup Outlook Premium without one.
