Outlook (desktop) the latest victim of what passes as quality control at Microsoft these days

“After updating to Version 2402 Build 17231.20182 Outlook now unexpectedly has an App Search bar above the message list.”

Unexpectedly? Really Microsoft? I guess that’s what you get when you skip your own rings/channels and just push stuff in production without any proper testing. But hey, no worries, they’ll remove it in the next update.

It really makes me sad how even a corporation like Microsoft continuously releases crappy and buggy updates. Even of something what’s essentially an enterprise app. Isn’t there anyone left there anymore who cares about quality? Have all the “adults” left the building?
