The new Outlook search

Outlook moved the search bar, to the top of the window. Not sure what the reasoning for this is/was, but I find it completely in-intuitive. Apparently I’m not alone in my opinion, this is the top uservoice feedback right now for Outlook. https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/322590-outlook-for-windows-desktop-application/suggestions/39046513-search-at-the-top-option

It puts the search out of where one would look for it, and requires searching for it (yeah, let’s search for the search bar). I guess this is to indicate that search is not only for emails, but I just find it strange.

What does everybody else think?

I think it is to be "consistent" with Teams… Why Teams couldn't be consistent with the rest of Office is another matter entirely.
