BIG TECH: The EU v UK

Hi Paul.

Given that the UK decided to leave the EU. There have been questions hanging over what the current UK Govt. plan to do with regard to the new EU Regulations concerning Apple, Meta, Google, etc.

The answer ( for now) is the UK won’t be subject to the new regulations – as they intend to address them via the new Online Safety Regs presently crawling slowly through Parliament. Don’t hold your breath though, they may well be out of office before it becomes law.
