Microsoft is playing games with the sidebar again!

New version of Edge installed today on my Macs and Windows machines (version 121.0.2277.128). There’s now a button for the sidebar all the way to the right. I don’t mind them putting it there as a default, but there is currently no option to remove this, either in the GUI or via edge://flags. I submitted feedback to them re: this, but who knows if they’ll even look at it.

I like using Edge; it has some nice features, and it’s pretty slick and fast. But Microsoft keeps insisting on doing stuff like this is super frustrating.

Aside from a group policy, has anyone figured out a way to remove it?
