Edge Broken – Can I reinstall

I am a fast ring insider. Edge has been broken and will not work for at least the last 4 builds. I keep hoping that each new build would fix it, but no luck. Is there a way to uninstall / reinstall it? It seems like it is baked into the OS but new builds never fix it. Anyone been able to reinstall?

Hopefully this one helps you https://www.techmesto.com/reinstall-microsoft-edge-windows-10/</p>

Have not tried it recently, but should still work

So basically the short version of whats described on that page:

1. Go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages.

2. Find the folder Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe and delete it. Then restart the computer

(If the system denies the deletion process of some files, skip them.)

3. Start up PowerShell as Admin and run:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -verbose}

4. Restart the computer

It worked. I had to delete the sub directories first. Thank you for your help.
