Enshittification of Skype

I opened Skype on iOS for the first time today since sometime in the pandemic when I was using it for video calls with people I care about.

What the hell?

First of all, it now has a news feed in it that looks like it might be the MSN news feed.

Second, it has an “AI copilot” that is just a Bing chat window.

How are these related to Skype’s purpose?
