Hibernation on Snapdragon Surface Laptop?

A few times now I’ve found that if I left my Snapdragon powered Surface Laptop sitting around for a few days it may enter into a deeper sleep where the Microsoft symbol appears on the screen when you open the laptop rather than the expected spontaneous lockscreen. Does anyone know what the timeframe is for this, there doesn’t appear to be any settings in Windows for this.
