Is Cortana completely dead?

I don’t understand what Microsoft is planning for Cortana. There is still no Swedish version, and now we hear that Cortana will not be its own thing (i.e. digital assistant), rather built in to various services. Is this good or bad?

Built into other services is better than getting rid of it entirely. It's not going to get traction in mobile. The name should go away, but it can live on in the pieces that enhance Microsoft's other services.

I think at this stage.. Cortana can live as the villain in the video game of Halo only. This version… stick a fork in it. It's done!!
