Latest version of Co-Pilof only runs in Portrait Mode on IPAD OS 18. Really?

I just read both Paul’s and Laurent’s articles about the latest Copilot features Microsoft introduced today. I was especially curious to see if the new Copilot Daily would be worthwhile to use each day.

After updating the app and restarting it, it opened up on my IPad Air 13 in Portrait Mode!!! And there is no way to change that to landscape mode as far as I can tell.

I cannot believe that in 2024 Microsoft would release an app with such a basic flaw.
