Microsoft Chat Support used KMS to activate my PC

So, I downgraded from Insider Canary to Windows 11 retail and somehow lost my activation. I contacted Microsoft support via Chat. The agent went to a website and used slmgr to connect to KMS server and activate my copy of Windows. Has this happened to anyone else? I’ve got pictures of my display while they are doing this and I have the entire conversation saved. It’s worth noting that the agent went to the website via Incognito mode, likely in order to not leave a trail behind. The commands were entered in an elevated command line as well, so there is no history there.
