Microsoft Extending OEM sales of pre-installed Windows 7

I received this from HP today. I thought I would share this with the community. After follow up e-mails, I was unable to get any information in regards to the “comes with a price increase”. I’m a bit surprised at the concession — but then again I’m not.

Win10 DG to Win7 Pro – please be aware!!!…

o             Microsoft has extended OEM ability to pre-install Win10 DG to Win7 Pro through October 2018

o             This extension comes with a price increase for the downgrade license (for those who DO NOT have a MSVL) beginning November 1, 2017
