since yesterday whatever I try to post on the site gets immediately deleted. Did I end up on some blacklist for some reason?
Thanks,
Vladimir

this post went through. The post that gets deleted is something I wrote in a text editor and I am trying to copy&paste it in a new forum post. Is there some rule against copying and pasting?

I have the feeling that the problem are the spam filters. I can post these messages but I the text I wrote (361 words) gets rejected as a new post and also as a comment to an existing post. Is it possible that there is a limit on the number of words/characters?

In reply to Vladimir:

If you have some special characters or URLs in the post, it can get lost. I had this problem a while back. I wrote a very long post and wrote it in an editor frist. The post kept disappearing. I then posted the introduction in a header post and that worked. I then tried posting the rest in a reply (you can't edit the original post) and it didn't work. I kept posting into the reply in chunks and eventually came across some command line instructions or a URL, I can't remember exactly, and it didn't want to post it, so I had to reformat it.

Edit: I just remembered… The forums don't like backslashes in the post text!

I know if I try to post any hyperlinks I am just told an error occurred until I make the hyperlink not a hyperlink which has been an issue for a couple of years now. Some other things trigger the error too.

Could it be the text editor you are using is not plain text so is inserting some hidden characters or something that the site doesn't like? What are you using?

Another issue I have sometimes is that when clicking on an article on the homepage it scrolls down to the comments box and I need to scroll back up again to actually read the article.
