new edge happenings

Lately, when I click a link on pages, I’m looking at edge loads a different page to compliment the experience, example clicking a link on deviant art, edge will load and take me to a good lab’s clinical trials. I’ve checked for malware, and other viruses, which turned up nil. Is this the new Micro soft steering me to sites they think I should be looking at?
