Outlook.com Login Screen

Any idea why both on laptop and desktop (Win10 Creators) when I open Outlook.com for the first time in that session (in Edge) I am presented with the login screen. I click the “Sign in” button and Outlook.com starts — no login data is requested. This began happening shortly after the Anniversary update. Not Earth shattering, just annoying.

Are you saying that you can log in without supplying your password? That sounds scary. Maybe Edge is entering it for you? Or are you using something like LastPass?

Anyway, I tried it myself and apparently Edge has stored my password and enters it for me, but I still have to click the "Sign in" button.

Agreed, it's annoying that we get the login page, we used to just route right to the inbox.

Happened to me too, but not anymore. I use 2FA and accidentally ticked "don't ask me again for this device" or something when logging in and it never asked me again, lol.
