Snipping Tool

I launch snipping tool and when I click new I see

“A problem with Windows is preventing Screen Snipping from opening. Refreshing your PC might help fix it.”

anyone else seeing this?

any workaround?

    <p>I’m running Win 10 21H1 and just tried launching Snipping Tool. After clicking New, everything seemed to work fine.</p><p><br></p><p>I normally just use Snip &amp; Sketch, anyway (Win + Shift + S). Refreshing the PC is obviously pretty dramatic. Can you just uninstall / reinstall Snipping Tool?</p>

      <p>Also, are you on a domain joined PC that might have group policies enabled?</p>

      <p>I should have mentioned it is only after the windows 11 update that the problem started</p>

    <p>Terrible bug. </p><p><br></p><p>Just fixed this by manually setting the system date to October, launching Snipping Tool and take a snip, then resetting the date to automatic.</p><p><br></p><p>Seriously what a mess.</p>
