Virtual desktops

Work makes me use a Windows desktop so I am trying to make it behave as my Mac does with its virtual desktops.

The only hotkeys I have found are the ctrl+windows+arrow key to move between the virtual desktop but there is a long delay from when I press these key combinations until the laptop moves to the next virtual desktop in the indicated direction (1 second I think). This is way too slow. On my Mac when I press Ctrl+arrow it moves instantly with no delay. Is there a way to remove this delay on windows?
