Help with Office

Hi,

suddenly this morning, each time I try to open a Micorosft 365 application, I get the Office logo, and a message saying, “Updating Office, please wait a moment”. After a few seconds, I get the error message: “Error, unable to start correctly, error code 0xc0000142. Click OK to close the application”. I tried Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and they all return the same error.

I looked it up a bit online and the only suggestion I find is to uninstall and reinstall the apps. I did that, but exactly the same thing happens. Anyone has any suggestions?

    Microsoft 365 having problems this morning?

    I noticed that the servers were slow, when I was adding users this morning.

    Update: Just had a notification for Microsoft 365 administrators, that Microsoft is experiencing problems with SharePoint Online this morning and users are unable to log on or get an error...

      thank you. In the meanwhile I solved it by using the repair function of the installer of the Office app. I panicked a bit this morning because it's not nice to start on Monday morning a long week of work, with the main apps I use that don't even start :-)
