Forza Motorsport 7 Demo Arrives Today on Xbox One and Windows 10

Microsoft has announced that the free Forza Motorsport 7 demo will arrive today on both Xbox One and Windows 10.

“The official Forza Motorsport 7 demo for both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC will be available today for download at 10 a.m. PDT,” a Microsoft representative told me, “with three unique racing experiences showcasing the depth and breadth of the experiences available in the game.”

Microsoft had previously announced that this demo would be available today. But now we know a few more details about the coming game.

First, there is a new trailer that features stunning 4K HDR in-game footage and nothing but stunning 4K HDR in-game footage.

The game will include over 700 cars, including “the largest collection of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches available in any racing game.” It will also include over 30 famous environments with dynamic conditions that change every time you race.

Microsoft has also revealed the “Voices of Motorsports” who will be featured in Forza Motorsport 7.

“This year’s list includes past and current racing drivers, automotive industry designers, automotive journalists and automotive personalities, each bringing their own unique perspective to racing, driving and automotive passion,” Microsoft’s Brian Ekberg says. “This year’s roster includes more than 15 people.”

Forza Motorsport 7 arrives as an Xbox Play Anywhere title on Xbox One and Windows 10 on September 29 for Ultimate Edition buyers, and on October 3 for Deluxe and Standard Edition owners.

Can anyone help me – Paul even (Going back to Amiga here)?

The best car racing game still – to date – I've ever played is F1 by Geoff Crammond and Microprose on my Amiga.

The reason is that me and a friend used to play that awesome single/multi mode where we start a race – I race for 5 minutes and the cpu controlled his car in the race – then you get like a 20 second warning to switch players – then for about 10 seconds the cpu controls both of us (in a circuit of 20 cars) while we switched seats so my friend could then control his car in the race. Back and forth until the race was over.

We used to play season after season like this – we loved the risk – that sometimes a crash might happen to you when you were not in control etc.

Is there any current racing game that has this multiplayer feature – where you play 1 at a time though on the same Xbox/controller?

I hope it will be a reasonably sized download because I have slow Internet. It more likely will be a massive size download.

Pointless pre-rendered trailer. Can't they come up with something different than the SEVENTH version of a racing game. Sure, it will be an XB1X launch title, but come on, have they completely run out of ideas?

In reply to ghostrider:

This is like saying premier league soccer should come up with something new. Dude, its a sport game, they'd probably be at the same basic thing at version 77, in 4D you in a "driver's seat" of some sort strapped to all kinds of make believe. Take it easy man.
