Games with Gold Serves Up Mysteries, Zombies, and More

It’s already October somehow, but there’s good news, too: Xbox Live Gold members get another four free games via Games with Gold.

Reminder: All Xbox 360 games in the Games for Gold promotion also work on Xbox One in Backward Compatibility mode too. So Xbox One users with Xbox Live Gold subscriptions are technically getting at least four free games each month.

Here’s what’s free this month.

Xbox One

Gone Home: Console Edition
Normal price: $19.99
Free availability: October 1 to October 31

Description: You arrive home after a year abroad. You expect your family to greet you, but the house is empty. Something’s not right. Where is everyone? And what’s happened here? Find out for yourself as you explore the house on Arbor Hill in the award-winning game that’s been called “a remarkable achievement” (IGN) and “the greatest video game love story ever told” (The New York Times).

The Turing Test
Normal price: $19.99
Free availability: October 16 to November 15

Description: The Turing Test is a first person puzzler that explores the phenomena of consciousness and challenges the meaning of human intuition. Take control of Ava Turing, an engineer for the International Space Agency (ISA), and progress through a narrated story of introspection and morality whilst uncovering the hidden mysteries of Europa. Delve into The Turing Test’s human interaction puzzles and arm yourself with logical and methodical thinking. Take on tests designed in such a way that only a human could solve them. In an evolving story based on mankind’s inherent need to explore, protect and survive; players search deeper into Europa’s ice crusted core and transcend the line between man and machine.

Xbox 360

Medal of Honor: Airborne

In the air, control your parachute to select the landing spot that brings you the greatest strategic advantage. On the ground, explore the open, vertical environment for positions that will provide you a tactical edge against your enemies. Then, head onto Xbox LIVE for furious multiplayer battles in three different modes, including all-new Airborne modes! You decide where to drop, you decide how to fight. It’s a different war every time.

But wait, there’s more

A few other related items for the start of the month…

Oxenfree. Remember that Oxenfree for Xbox One is still free through October 15. If you haven’t added this one to your collection yet, please do so.

Speedrunners. This 2D side-scrolling platformer came up on Windows Weekly last week: Speedrunners looks great, and looks similar to Super Meat Boy. It’s available now for Xbox One, for $9.99.

Xbox Game Pass. As I noted just the other day, Microsoft is adding 7 new games to its affordable Xbox Game Pass subscription this month, including a few heavy-hitters like Super Street Fighter IVState of Decay, and Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell. Those games are now available, and you can find them in the Store. (I’m downloading State of Decay: Year One as I write this.)

I wanted to try Medal of honor airborne. I have seen the gameplay and trailers of the game and it all were so exciting. From that day on I was so eagerly waiting for the release of the DVD. But the originals as always costed so much. I will sure buy this discounted version anyhow.

<a href="; target="_blank">paris private tour
