Microsoft Brings Five Games to Steam and PC Disc

Microsoft has announced that five of its blockbuster Microsoft Studio games are now available via Steam and PC retail disc.

“A few weeks ago, [at] gamescom, we announced that we’d be bringing five games from our Microsoft Studios teams to Steam and retail outlets on PC disc,” Microsoft’s Will Tuttle explained. “Today, we’re happy to announce that these games are now available, offering new and existing fans alike an opportunity to enjoy these five titles on a new platform.”

Those games are:

ReCore: Definitive Edition., This action-adventure game lets you “join up with corebot companions and lead them on an epic adventure through a dynamic world.”

Super Lucky’s Tale. One of my favorite games from the past year, this is “a delightful playground platformer for all ages that follows Lucky, the ever-optimistic, energetic, and lovable hero, on his quest to find his inner strength and help his sister rescue the Book of Ages from Jinx.”

Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection. The latest installment in the “wildly popular Zoo Tycoon series gets set to crank up the excitement, challenge, and fun of building the ultimate zoo.”

Disneyland Adventures. This game “allows fans of all ages to explore Disneyland park, enjoy adventures based on 18 popular attractions, engage in 100 challenging quests, and interact with 35 beloved characters.”

Rush: A Disney-Pixar Adventure. Another one for “families and fans of all ages,” this games lets you “experience the worlds of six beloved Disney-Pixar films like never before.”

Each game is now available via Steam or on disc at electronics retailers near you.

Paul tell me you are joking with the "blockbuster" phrasing.

In reply to Illusive_Man:

What qualifies as a blockbuster and how many has each sold? We really don't know that. We have no access to the digital sales data or the download data from Game Pass. The only data you'll find is VGChartz made up numbers (that's a site that has no sources referenced and is notorious for inaccuracy – even Wikipedia has discounted them as a source).

Has each gone past a million unique downloads in its life? Don't know.

But putting them on Steam is a positive.

Hang on, Disneyland Adventures used to be a Kinect game (my kids love playing it). When did they turn it into a real game?
