Microsoft Reveals More Halo on PC Details

We know that Halo: Infinite is arriving next year with Xbox One “Scarlett.” But now we also know how much the other Halo games for PC will cost.

First, and most important: Halo Infinite is not an Xbox-only game: In addition to running on all Xbox One console generations, it will also run on what Microsoft says is “a wide range of PCs” too. And it will, of course, be included with Xbox Game Pass for PC and console, as will Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Speaking of which, we know that Microsoft is slowly bringing the entire Halo: The Master Chief Collection to the PC as well, and that it is doing so one game at a time, starting with Halo: Reach.

But Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a massive collection of games. What if you only want one of the games, or a small number of them? Well, you’ll be able to buy them individually. Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4 will all cost just $9.99 each, while Halo 3: ODST (Campaign only at this time), will be only $4.99. All will be available on PC from both the Microsoft Store and Steam.

“Players will have flexibility to purchase any or all the games at any point along the way as they become available,” Microsoft says.

Nice!

Doesn't seem like any new information that we didn't already have other than pricing. That said I think that pricing is perfect. $9.99 for (potentially) well polished upgrades to once AAA releases of a BIG game series such as Halo is a bargain IMHO.
