Minecraft Legends and More Are Coming to Game Pass in April

Microsoft has revealed today the next games coming to the Game Pass library in April. Loop Hero, an indie rogue-lite game is available starting today on Console and PC, and it will be followed by the tower defense game Iron Brigade on Thursday, April 6.

Bigger games will land on the catalog next week starting with Ghostwire: Tokyo, the former PlayStation 5 and PC exclusive game developed by Tango Gameworks (The Evil Within). This game will be available on April 12, and it will include the new Spider’s Thread update.

The last two big games coming to Game Pass in April include NHL 23 (via EA Play) and Minecraft Legends, which will be available on day one with Game Pass. The latter is an action-strategy game set in the Minecraft universe, and just like Minecraft Dungeons before it, it will also be released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5.

Here’s the full list of games coming to Game Pass in April:

  • Loop Hero (Console and PC) – Available today
  • Iron Brigade (Cloud and Console) – April 6
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 12
  • NHL 23 (Console via EA Play) – April 13
  • Minecraft Legends (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 18, available on day one with Game Pass

Microsoft also announced today that seven games will disappear from the Game Pass library on April 15: The list includes Life is Strange: True Colors, The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk, Rainbow Six Extraction, and The Long Dark. As usual, Microsoft is offering up to 20% discounts on these games before they get removed from Game Pass.
