Anstream Arcade Xbox

Anstream Arcade, a retro-themed cloud gaming service that’s already available on PC and Android devices is coming to Xbox consoles on July 21. This will be the first third-party cloud gaming service to launch on Xbox consoles, and it will provide subscribers access to over 1300 classic games from popular consoles made by Atari, Nintendo, Sega, and even Sony.

The full list of Anstream Arcade games is available on this page, but you can expect 293 Arcade games, 57 Genesis games, 33 NES games, 42 SNES titles, and even two PS1 games. Highlights include Earthworm Jim 1 and 2, the Double Dragon trilogy, Mortal Kombat, and R-Type. There are also a lot of Amiga, Amstrad, Atari, C64, and ZX Spectrum games, if you’re familiar with these older machines.

Anstream Arcade will be available on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles, and the service will cost $29.99/year or $79.99 for lifetime access. Local co-op will be supported on games that support it, and the cloud gaming platform will also let players save their game at any point.

The Anstream Arcade app for Xbox is already available for pre-order on the Microsoft Store, and the company says that 1 in every 10 pre-orders will be upgraded to a lifetime subscription. The platform is committed to adding new games regularly, and it will also offer global challenges every month.
