Everspace 2, Broforce Forever, and More Are Coming to Game Pass in August

Microsoft has just revealed the first wave of games coming to Game Pass in September. The platform game Celeste is making its comeback to the Game Pass library today, and it will be followed by the adventure game A Short Hike on Thursday, August 3.

Next week, the side-scrolling run-and-gun game Broforce Forever is finally coming to Xbox consoles and Game Pass. This indie game is a personal favorite and it has been available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch for years (it was also previously available on PC Game Pass.) This a very fun game featuring playable versions of characters from popular action movies such as John Rambo, Indiana Jones, James Bond, Dirty Harry, Ellen Ripley, The Bride from Kill Bill, and many more…

Limbo, an indie adventure game that was previously offered via the Games with Gold program is also coming to Game Pass on August 9. The sky city builder Airborne Kingdom is also coming on August 10, and it will be followed by Everspace 2 on August 15. The latter is already available on PC Game Pass, but it’s launching on Xbox Series X|S consoles next week.

Lastly, Microsoft announced that four games will leave the Game Pass library on August 15: The list includes Death Stranding (PC only), Edge of Eternity, Midnight Fight Express, and Total War: Warhammer III (also PC-only). As usual, you can purchase these games with a small discount before their departure.
