PC Game Pass is Coming to Nvidia GeForce Now This Week

Nvidia is getting ready to make games in the PC Game Pass library available to stream on its GeForce Now cloud gaming service. As reported by The Verge, the PC Game Pass integration on GeForce Now will go live on Thursday, August 24, though not all games from the PC Game Pass library will be available to stream immediately.

Bringing PC Game Pass Games to GeForce Now requires Nvidia to make its cloud gaming service integrate with the Microsoft Store. Then, games currently available on Microsoft’s PC Game Pass service need to be enabled for streaming on GeForce Now.

After signing a 10-year deal with Nvidia to make its PC games available on the company’s cloud gaming service, Microsoft brought its first PC games to GeForce Now in May. At its Xbox Games Showcase a month later, the company announced that PC Game Pass members would soon be able to stream select games from the library through GeForce Now.

Nvidia’s cloud gaming service is currently one of the best cloud gaming services on the market as it supports gameplay at up to 4K resolution and 120 FPS. While you’ll need to sign up for the $19.99 Ultimate tier to enjoy this top-tier quality, gamers can play select games from their personal Steam, Epic Games, and Ubisoft Connect game libraries at no additional cost. Starting this Thursday, this will also apply to select PC Game Pass games.

Nvidia’s GeForce Now is currently available on PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, mobile devices, TVs, and more. There’s a free tier that restricts gaming sessions to 1 hour, and you need to upgrade to the $9.99/month Priority tier to be able to play at up to 1080p/60FPS.
