Halo Infinite Gets a “Halo 3 Refueled” Playlist

Halo map: High ground

It looks like Call of Duty isn’t the only franchise remaking its best maps from the past: Halo Infinite just added seven remade and reimagined fan-favorite Halo 3 maps as part of a new “Halo 3 Refueled” playlist.

“Halo 3 Refueled has landed and it’s full of your old favorites … or at least the maps which might have left the biggest impact from the Halo 3 era,” a new post to Halo Waypoint explains. “Now, it is 2023 so things have evolved a bit. These maps may visually resemble these old favorites but it’s important to note that they have been refreshed and adapted for Halo Infinite’s sandbox so they may play slightly differently.”

More specifically, three of the maps—The Pit, High Ground, and Isolation—are remakes, but four are reimagined and have been renamed: Sylvanus is a reimagination of Guardian, Domicile is a reimagination of Construct, Banished Narrows is a reimagination of Narrows, and Cliffside is a reimagination of Blackout (which debuted in Halo 2). And there’s also an 8th map called Critical Dewpoint that’s a reimagining of Athlon from the Master Chief Collection.

Nice.
