IGN x ID@Xbox Digital Showcase April 29

Microsoft is once again teaming up with the gaming media outlet IGN to hold a second IGN x ID@Xbox Showcase on April 29. The first showcase, which aired on July 11, 2023, put the spotlight on some great indie games such as the old-school RPG Sea of Stars. This second edition will focus on “another batch of hotly anticipated indies” coming soon to Xbox and PC.

“On top of epic trailers, fresh gameplay, and new reveals, the show will feature new details on upcoming games like Dungeons of Hinterberg, 33 Immortals, Lost Records Bloom & Rage, and many others,” the Xbox team said today. The announcement also mentions updates for Vampire Survivors, a popular roguelite survival game that’s still available on Game Pass.

Since its launch back in 2024, Microsoft’s ID@Xbox program has brought thousands of indie games on Xbox consoles. A game like Palworld, one of the biggest gaming sensations of 2024, launched in early access on Xbox consoles in January thanks to the ID@Xbox program. And Microsoft recently said at GDC 2024 that more than 3,500 titles from indie developers are currently in development for Xbox and Windows via the ID@Xbox program.

The second ID@Xbox showcase will air on April 29, 2024, at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST on IGN’s various platforms including Twitch and YouTube. Xbox has been enjoying some positive buzz in recent weeks thanks to the success of the new Fallout TV show and Xbox games dominating the charts on Sony’s PlayStation Store. It will be interesting to see if this upcoming ID@Xbox showcase will be another win for the Xbox team.
