The Game Pass library is about to welcome three new games in August, including a third Activision Blizzard title. Following the previous additions of Diablo IV and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be added to the Game Pass library on Thursday, August 8. This is a compilation of the first three games in the series (originally released on the first PlayStation console) with remastered graphics and improved gameplay.
Unlike Diablo IV and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will apparently be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming. Microsoft still has a lot of Activision Blizzard games to make available on Game Pass, and maybe the company will release them on Xbox Cloud Gaming on a case-by-case basis.

Mafia: Definitive Edition will also come to Game Pass next week on August 13. This is also a remaster of a cult-classic game, and it’s also part of a trilogy. This means that there’s a good chance that we’ll also see Mafia II: Definitive Edition (also a remaster of the second game) and Mafia III come to Game Pass in the coming months.
Game Pass subscribers will also get to play a new action-adventure game, Creatures of Ava, when it comes to the library on day one tomorrow, August 7. Please note that this game isn’t available on Xbox One except via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Lastly, Microsoft revealed the list of games that will leave the Game Pass library on August 15. It includes Airborne Kingdoms, Offworld Trading Company, Shadow Warrior 3, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. As usual, Game Pass members who want to keep playing these four games can purchase them with an up to 20% discount.
