Microsoft has just revealed the second wave of new Game Pass games for the month of October. The headliner is Call of Duty Black Ops 6, which will be coming to Game Pass for Console, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming on its launch day, October 25. It will be preceded by MechWarrior 5: Clans, another day one addition to the service on October 17.
South Park: The Fractured but Whole is also coming to Game Pass tomorrow, October 16, including for subscribers to the new Game Pass Standard tier. That’s also the case for two returning games, Donut County and Ashen.
There are also three new additions to PC Game Pass: The PC version of Dead Island 2 is coming on October 31 (the game is already available on Game Pass for Console and Cloud), and the Xbox team previously announced that Starcraft: Remastered and Starcraft II: Campaign Collection would come to PC Game Pass on November 5.
Microsoft also announced yesterday that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone would join the new Black Ops 6 episode on Xbox Cloud Gaming on October 25. With these three new Activision games coming soon to Microsoft’s cloud gaming service, let’s hope that Blizzard’s Diablo IV is next in line.
