iFixit is Now Offering Official Xbox Series X|S Repair Parts

iFixit has started selling official repair parts for Microsoft’s Xbox Series X|S consoles. The company is also offering detailed repair guides for people not just looking to fix their consoles but also cleaning them from the dust that may accumulate over time.

“Since we launched our Surface parts collaboration with Microsoft last year, we’ve been helping our customers repair their own Microsoft laptops and tablets — and it’s awesome to be able to offer Xbox owners the same opportunity,” said Elizabeth Chamberlain, iFixit’s director of sustainability in a statement shared with The Verge. “We now offer official Microsoft parts and step-by-step repair guides for Xbox Series S and Series X, including both the all-digital and disk drive editions.”

As you may remember, Microsoft also started offering repair parts for Xbox controllers in the US last year, but iFixit has everything gamers need to clean and fix current-gen Xbox consoles. That includes motherboards, power supplies, Wi-Fi boards, HDMI ports, shell cases, plus controller joysticks and their covers. The company also sells a $12.95 Xbox Toolkit with Torx bits, a screwdriver, and other essential accessories for opening Xbox consoles and controllers.

You can check out the Microsoft Repair Hub on iFixit’s website to see all the official repair parts available for fixing Surface and Xbox devices yourself. iFixit offers parts, tools, and free repair guides for many devices, but the company also has official partnerships with various tech companies besides Microsoft including Google, Lenovo, HP, Motorola, Logitech, and Valve.
