Amazon Luna Adds EA Games and Expands to More EU Countries

Amazon Luna EA Games

Amazon’s Luna cloud gaming service welcomes three EA games today, and more are coming. The company announced a multi-year agreement with EA to bring “many of its fan-favorites games” to Luna, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Dead Space are the first titles to be available for Luna+ subscribers.

For $9.99/€9.99 a month, a Luna+ subscription provides access to a mix of over 100 games, including blockbuster titles such as Death Stranding Director’s Cut, Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5, Metro Exodus, and Control Ultimate Edition. The aforementioned three EA games are now joining the library today, but Luna+ subscribers will need to link an EA account to their Amazon account to play them.

“Our teams are focused on building experiences that entertain and engage EA’s massive online communities, and we’re excited to partner with Amazon to make those games available to even more people,” said David Tinson, EVP and Chief Experiences Officer, Electronic Arts. “We look forward to a selection of EA games joining Amazon Luna, offering new ways for players and fans to come together across a variety of devices they already own, wherever they are.”

EA plans to make “select games from the EA Sports portfolio” available on Luna+ in the future. That likely includes the EA FC (previously FIFA) series, which used to be available on Google’s now-deprecated Stadia service.

In addition to this new partnership with EA, Amazon is also making Luna accessible in Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg today. The cloud gaming service is currently available on the web, iOS and Android mobile devices, Fire Tablets, Fire TV devices, and select smart TVs from Samsung and LG. If you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber, you can access a rotating library of Luna games for free with your subscription.
