Microsoft’s Game Pass service is about to welcome six new games in April, including three brand new ones and old blockbuster titles such as Borderlands 3 and Diablo III. The latter will be joining Diablo IV, which has been available on Game Pass since March 2024.
South of Midnight is the next Xbox Games Studios title to be released on day one on Game Pass on April 8. It’s also the first production from Compulsion Games following its acquisition by Microsoft back in 2018, and it’s an action-adventure set in a fictionalized American Deep South. Game Pass members who purchase the $9 Premium Edition Upgrade will also get 5 days of early access.
The two other games coming to Game Pass on day one in April are the architectural adventure game Blue Prince and the real-time tactics title Commandos: Origins. The latest is a brand new episode in the video game series that launched on PC back in 1998 with Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines.
Borderlands 3: Ultimate Edition, which includes the game plus all of its DLCs will be coming to Game Pass tomorrow, April 3. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition will follow on April 8, and Hunt Showdown 1896 will wrap up the first wave of Game Pass games for April a week later. Game Pass Standard subscribers will also get three new games with All You Need is Help, Still Wakes the Deep, and Wargroove 2.
