Hollow Knight: Silksong headlines the first wave of games coming to the Game Pass library in September. The metroidvania game will be available on Game Pass on its launch day, September 4, where it will also join the original, award-winning Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition.
Silksong was one of the hottest games on the Gamescom show floor last month, and a recent report revealed that it quickly became Steam’s most wishlisted game of the year with over 4.8 million wishlists. Getting the game on Game Pass on day one is definitely a big deal for the service, especially as the rest of the September 2025 first wave isn’t as impressive.
The other games coming to Game Pass in September include the FPS I Am Your Beast, the real-time strategy game Cataclysm, and the realistic vehicle simulator Roadcraft. PAW Patrol World is also coming back to the Game Pass library this month, while the 2D action-platformer Nine Sols will land on the Standard tier.

The Xbox team also announced today that three games will be leaving the Game Pass library on September 15: The list includes All You Need is Help, Wargroove 2, and We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie. As usual, Game Pass subscribers can purchase these games with a 20% discount before they leave the service.
