Xbox Announces Tokyo Game Show Broadcast on September 25

Xbox Tokyo Game show broadcast September 25

After Microsoft showed its ROG Xbox Ally handhelds at gamescom in Cologne, Germany, last month, the upcoming Tokyo Game Show is the next stop for the Xbox team. The company just announced a Tokyo Game Show broadcast on September 25 at 3AM PT / 6AM ET / 11am UK), where the company plans to show first titles and games from third-party developers.

“This year’s show will feature titles from our creative teams, alongside exciting updates from our partners in Japan, across Asia and around the world. We know players around the world delight in Japan-inspired content and games developed in Asia, and we can’t wait to connect with players across the globe to show off the incredible talent and creativity behind upcoming games coming to Xbox,” the Xbox team said today.

The upcoming Ninja Gaiden 4, which is published by Xbox Game Studios and coming to Xbox, PS5, and PC on October 21, will be playable at the event and will likely be part of the presentation. We may also get a release date for Final Fantasy VII Remake on Xbox consoles, as Square Enix already announced that the game was coming to Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 in Q4 2025.

Lastly, Visitors will be able to go hands-on with the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X at the Republic of Gamers booth. The two gaming handhelds will be released in over 30 markets on October 16, but Microsoft has yet to announce pricing information. Maybe that will finally happen during that Tokyo Game Show broadcast.
