Forza Horizon 6, Subnautica 2, and More Are Headed to Game Pass in May

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service will get several big games on day one in May, including Forza Horizon 6, Subnautica 2, and the narrative adventure Mixtape. Call of the Elder Gods, the sequel to the adventure game Call of the Sea (also previously on Game Pass), will complete the list of day one additions, along with the open-world exploration game Outbound.

Obviously, Forza Horizon 6 will be the main attraction this month. The racing game is coming almost five years after Forza Horizon 5, and it will take place in Japan and offer over 550 cars. Game Pass members who purchase the game’s $59.99 Premium upgrade bundle will get access to it on May 15. Developer Playground Games detailed yesterday the game’s performance targets on Xbox Series X|S consoles, as well as loyalty rewards for existing Forza players.

Doom: The Dark Ages, which was released a year ago on Game Pass Ultimate, is also coming to the Game Pass Standard tier this month, along with Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Descenders Next. You can find the full list of new Game Pass games with their availability dates below:

That’s already quite a lot of games for the month of May, but a second wave will follow later this month, as usual. Lastly, five games will leave the Game Pass library on May 15: The list includes Galacticare, Go Mecha Ball, Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo, Paw Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship, and Planet of Lana. Game Pass members can purchase with a 20% discount before they leave the service in 10 days.
