The Xbox team continues to roll out new console features at a regular pace, and starting today, Xbox Insiders will get access to a new boot-up animation featuring the glowing Xbox logo that Microsoft has started using in recent weeks. New tiered Gamerscore badges are also coming to better highlight Xbox gamers who have unlocked a lot of Xbox achievements over the years.
“You’ll see and hear the update when you power on your console, bringing a refreshed look and feel from the moment you jump in,” the Xbox team said today about the new boot-up experience. Microsoft has introduced this translucent green Xbox logo after Asha replaced Phil Spencer as the head of Xbox, and it’s one of the most visible signs of the exec’s renewed focus on the Xbox console experience.
Select Xbox Insiders will also get access to new tiered badges that will appear on gamer profiles and the Xbox guide. These new badges reflect specific Gamerscore milestones, as you can see below.

Lastly, Microsoft is introducing new filters in the Game library to make installed games that may not be playable easier to identify. That can happen when a game subscription expires or when someone else stops sharing games with you using the home Xbox feature.
“These features will roll out to more Insiders over time, with broader availability coming to all players later,” the Xbox team said today.
