Halo: Campaign Evolved, the remake of the original Halo game from 2001, headlines the second wave of new Game Pass games for July. This new version of the game, developed with Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5, will be released on July 28, but players who pre-order the $69.99 Premium Edition will unlock early access on Thursday, July 23.
As a reminder, Halo: Campaign Evolved will include just the game’s campaign with 3 additional missions and several new weapons, vehicles, and enemies to discover. The campaign will support up to 4-player online co-op with cross-play with PC and PlayStation 5 players. The remake also still supports 2-player split-screen co-op, and cross-progression via a Microsoft account is also present.
Three other games are also coming soon to Game Pass, including the action RPG Beast of Reincarnation, the extraction ARPG Mistfall Hunter, and the co-op horror game Shift at Midnight. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members will also get to play The Planet Crafter, Hell is Us, and Corsair Cove this month.

All these games can be purchased with a 20% discount before July 31.
