Cricket 26, Date Everything, and More Are Coming to Game Pass

Microsoft revealed today the first wave of new Game Pass games for the month of August. The headliners are Cricket 26 and the sandbox dating simulator Date Everything. Sandustry, a new factory game with sand physics, is also coming to Game Pass on day one through the Game Preview program.

I wrote about it earlier today, but Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers will also get access to the Gears of War: E-Day early access beta beginning August 6. An open beta will also follow next week on August 13-17.

This was announced last month, but Best Beast of Reincarnation, a new action RPG from Game Freak, the developer of the Pokémon games on Nintendo consoles, is also coming to Game Pass on day one today. The game mixes real-time and turn-based combat, and its action is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan.

• Grounded 2 (Game Preview) (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – Coming to Game Pass Premium on August 11
• Ball x Pit (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – Coming to Game Pass Premium on August 12
• Cricket 26 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Coming to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass on August 13
• Mio: Memories in Orbit (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – Coming to Game Pass Premium on August 13

• Egging On (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – August 18

Lastly, the Xbox team also announced that Menace, Atlas Fallen, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and Firewatch will leave the Game Pass library on August 15. As usual, Game Pass subscribers can purchase them with a 20% discount before they leave the service.
