Microsoft released yesterday the August Update for Xbox consoles that brings various improvements to cloud saves, Game hubs, and a better integration of Xbox 360 games across the Xbox OS. Microsoft is also raising the maximum number of games that can be wishlisted to 1,000.
First of all, the game cards that open before launching a game will now give the same treatment to Xbox 360 titles, with a complete game hub showing achievement progress, game captures, and other useful information. It’s also now possible to add both released and upcoming games to the wishlist directly from game cards.

For achievement hunters, the achievement list visible from the Xbox guide will now show detailed achievement popups for Xbox 360 games. Achievements from Windows Phone games are also now visible on gamers’ full achievement history, just like they are on Xbox 360 consoles.
With this update, Microsoft is also improving the symbols representing cloud save sync state on game cards. Xbox gamers are also getting the ability to restore previous cloud saves for supported games, with Forza Horizon 6 being the first title to support this.

Lastly, Game Pass subscribers can now to stream a cloud-enabled Xbox game while the installed version is being updated in the background. “That means less waiting and more time playing,” the Xbox team explained.
