Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and SpeedRunners 2 Are Coming to Game Pass

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, SpeedRunners 2, and three other games are coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass in September. Black Ops Cold War continues the streak of old Call of Duty games added to Game Pass since Microsoft completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, and it will be coming to the service on September 8.

SpeedRunners 2 is the sequel to the competitive platformer that was released on Xbox One back in 2017, and that Microsoft previously gave for free via its now-discontinued Games with Gold program. The new game will be coming to Game Pass on day one on Thursday, September 3, and it will support online races with up to 8 players.

Other new Game Pass games for September include RuneScape: Dragonwilds (coming September 15), Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage (coming September 10), and The Royal Writ (also coming September 10). The roguelike deck builder Dice a Million will also come to the cheaper Game Pass Premium tier on September 4.

Lastly, 10 games will also leave the Game Pass library on September 15, including Commandos: Origins, Cyberpunk 2077, Dead Cells, Deep Rock Galactic Survivor, Frospunk 2, Spiritfared, and Train Sim World 5. All these games can be purchased with a 20% discount before they leave the service.
