Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will come to Game Pass on October 29, where it will join the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster anthology. The remake of the cult-classic Final Fantasy episode from 1997 headlines the second wave of new Game Pass games for October, which also includes two new day-one games.
I would say that I’m a bit surprised to see Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade coming to Game Pass before the port of the original game, which was released on the Xbox One and the Xbox app for PC back in 2019. The remake was originally released on Sony’s PlayStation 4 in 2020, and it didn’t come to Xbox Series X|S consoles until January 22, 2026. That version supports Xbox Play Anywhere, and it’s also cloud-enabled.
For those unfamiliar, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the first episode in a trilogy of games to expand the story of the original title. The second episode, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, was released on PS5 in 2024 and on Windows and Xbox in 2025 and 2026, respectively. I suspect that it will also be coming to Game Pass at some point. The third and final episode of the new trilogy, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, will get a simultaneous release on PC and current-gen consoles on April 8, 2027.
The Xbox team also announced other new Game Pass games today, including Dodo Duckie, The Séance of Blake Manor, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, Pit of Goblin, Terrible Lizards, and Scramble Knights Online. The last two games will come to the service on day one.

Lastly, the Xbox team also announced today that 11 games will leave the Game Pass library between October 31 and November 10. The list includes Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Deep Rock Galactic, Full Throttle Remastered, Grim Fandango Remastered, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Wildcat, and Football Manager 26.
