Microsoft Touts “Biggest Xbox Game Sale Ever”

Microsoft has started its annual Xbox Store Countdown, a 17-day event that the software giant described as “the biggest Xbox game sale ever.”

Here’s how it works:

For the next 2+ weeks, Microsoft will offer discounts of 40 to 60 percent on numerous Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, offering a different set of games each week. The first set is available today, December 22, through December 28. The second set of game sales runs from December 29 to January 7.

Additionally, Microsoft will be offering Daily Deals on games from December 22 to 31. And … better still, if you’re an Xbox Live Gold member, you’ll save up to an additional 10 percent on top of the all of the published game discounts.

But a few notable options include Halo 5: Guardians, Rare Replay, and Rise of the Tomb Raider, all for Xbox One. And Black Ops III Bundle, Forza Horizonand LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, for Xbox 360.
