Microsoft announced today that Doom Eternal is coming soon to Xbox Game Pass for PC and that a new Master Level is available today on console.
“The Super Gore Nest Master Level is available now,” Bethesda’s Parker Wilhelm writes in the announcement post. “Experience a fresh new challenge and the chance to earn cool rewards. That’s not all! More Slayers will join the fray December 3 when Doom Eternal arrives with Xbox Game Pass for PC.”

As you may recall, Microsoft is buying Bethesda, which owns the Doom franchise and many other popular games. So today’s announcement provides an interesting peek at how this new acquisition—which, yes, is still not finalized—can benefit those in the Xbox ecosystem.
More specifically, Doom Eternal, the latest entry in the Doom series, is already available on console via the Xbox Game Pass for Console and Ultimate subscriptions. And now it’s coming to the PC as well, via Xbox Game Pass for PC (and Ultimate).
When it arrives, Game Pass members will be able to access not just the game itself but also the Super Gore Nest Master Level that was announced today plus an expanded selection of Slayers. (I assume Slayers are player characters/skins, and that “Slayer” is the more recent name for what I still think as “the Doom guy” or “the space marine,” but whatever.)
