Fall Guys Lands on Xbox This Summer

Back in late January, Microsoft accidentally announced that Fall Guys would be coming to Xbox. A few tweets later and we were left wondering about what was really happening but at that time, Fall Guys wasn’t on the agenda.

Jumping to today and we know the truth, Microsoft wasn’t lying (as expected), they were a bit early. The Xbox team has announced today that Fall Guys will be coming to Xbox this Summer but it will not be part of Game Pass – at least not yet.

We do not have an official date for the release at this time, the meat of the Microsoft announcement is below:

So, big news: I’m super-delighted to share that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is officially coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One this Summer! Our whole team cannot wait to welcome Xbox players to the Blunderdome for all sorts of bean-based mayhem — it’s certainly been a while coming, but we’re here and couldn’t be happier.

And that’s that. This puts to bed the “mystery” about why Microsoft would say Fall Guys is coming to Xbox when the developer stated that was not the truth. Anyways, I look forward to being able to play in the blunderdome in a few months on my Series X.

Makes sense they are not going to make it to Game pass yet. Why not ride their popularity and new arrival to the ecosystem to garner a lot of initial sales. I suspect once sales drop then gamepass discussions will start.

I would happily pay $30 for this game, otherwise I would wait for a sale or game pass.
