Nice! Paul, since you had mentioned you were looking to try new games (other than COD), as a Star Wars fan, you should try out the "Jedi Fallen Order" game. Good storyline, and pretty fun to play, if a bit difficult.

I assume the publishers of sports titles can do this because they've moved so much of their profit to add-on DLC. Is the Xbox going to slowly morph into CostCo, where they have everything but you need a membership to shop and nothing is free but the samples? I hope they can figure out what to do with Gold/Game Pass before my subscription is up later this year. Some clarity would be nice.

As for Madden, it profits from the MUT gameplay where all the focus seems to go. You can buy lottery packs in hopes of a tiny chance of getting one of the premier players. I can't really speak for the other games. I tried to play this mode a few years back and it was just frustrating. Most of the good players with the highest ratings don't even release until the post-season.

it’s the same for most ea sports games, like fifa for example. In the eu there is an open investigation because it’s considered equal to gambling, which is regulated
