EA Play Lands on Xbox Game Pass for PC Tomorrow

After a delay of three months, the day has finally arrived: Over 60 EA Play titles are coming to Xbox Game Pass PC starting tomorrow.

“Since teaming up with Electronic Arts, we’ve been working to provide Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC members an EA Play membership at no additional cost,” the Xbox Game Pass team explains. “We want to thank the PC community for your patience over the past few months as we worked to deliver a better Xbox App experience for EA Play.”

Starting tomorrow, Xbox Game Pass PC and Ultimate members will gain access to over 60 Electronic Arts titles on the PC, including hits like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, FIFA 20, Titanfall 2, and Need for Speed Heat, and games from popular EA franchises like Battlefield, Madden NFL, Command & Conquer, and The Sims.

Game Pass PC and Ultimate members will also get exclusive in-game challenges and rewards, special member-only content, and discounts on EA digital purchases via the EA Desktop app beta, Microsoft notes, plus access to game trials for up to 10 hours.

To get started with EA Play on PC, Xbox Game Pass members will need to download the EA Desktop app and sign-in with or create a new EA account. Then, you can link your Xbox account and EA account.

Wow… I'm not a subscriber to GamePass, but they are really kicking things up a notch across the board. The value proposition just keeps getting better and better. Netflix for games indeed. I would say that Stadia is definitely out of the running, for me anyway.
